<p>You know it, buying things for your iPod never really gets old. So, I&#8217;ve found a few new accessories that are a bit more than the iPod sock case or a car transmitter.</p>
<p>Multiple people have created lists on Amazon to help get others &#8220;set up&#8221; with the good stuff via Amazon. <a title="iPod List- budget" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/richpub/syltguides/fullview/R289ZHOND3GN38/ref=cm_syt_fvlm_f_5_rlrsrs0" target="_blank">This guy </a>has a guide for those on a budget, and <a title="Video iPod Get Started" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/richpub/syltguides/fullview/3O7TRY8V8KY3O/ref=cm_syt_fvlm_f_4_rlrsrs0" target="_blank">this guy</a> who would like to help you &#8220;get started&#8221; with a video iPod.</p>
<div id="attachment_418" class="wp-caption alignleft" style="width: 220px"><a href="http://techyness.com/wordpress_new/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/angel_devil.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-418" title="angel_devil" src="http://techyness.com/wordpress_new/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/angel_devil-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="210" height="210" /></a><p class="wp-caption-text">Angel/Devil headphones... because you know they&#39;re always influencing you anyway.</p></div>
<p>There will always be some weird stuff out there for gadgets- take the <a title="top 10 strangest ipod accessories" href="http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/top-10-strangest-ipod-accessories" target="_blank">Top 10 Strangest iPod accessories</a>- including the iPod boxers, iPod thong, iPod wallet, and just more strange things, like the <a title="iBreath" href="http://www.davidsteele.com/iBreath-iPod-Breathalyzer-p/ib-1000.htm?Click=262" target="_blank">iBreath breathalyzer</a>, that will recommend music based on your BAC.</p>
<p>On the more pratical side&#8230;. Music in the bathroom is awesome. However, finding waterproof speaker docks isn&#8217;t always so awesome. I found the coolest raindrop shaped speaker via <a title="Rain Drop Bathroom Speaker" href="http://gizmine.com/#ProductPage=CategoryCode=gzpt&amp;productURLCode=zumreed&amp;APC=P1168">Gizmine</a>- and it comes in multiple colors. But the best part about it is that your iPod is housed safely inside. Here&#8217;s another <a title="Bathroom speakers" href="http://gizmine.com/#ProductPage=CategoryCode=gzpt&amp;productURLCode=splashfree&amp;APC=P1168">example</a> from Pioneer.</p>
<p>As mentioned before, expressing yourself via your iPod accessories is really the only way to go these days. My roommate sent me these <a title="Angel/Devil Headphones" href="http://gizmine.com/#ProductPage=CategoryCode=gzep&amp;productURLCode=angeldevil&amp;APC=P1168">angel/devil headphones</a> (variety of colors) because she knew that I fight with these two on a daily basis&#8230;</p>
<p>In the spirit of <strong>March Madness</strong>, buy the iBracket application for $.99 via <a title="Apptism - iBracket" href="http://www.apptism.com/apps/ibracket" target="_blank">Apptism</a> and import your brackets from Yahoo!, ESPN, or CBS Sports&#8211; and the brackets will automatically update based on game scores. If you&#8217;re one of those crazy people who run multiple brackets, the app supports that too.</p>

<p>We&#8217;ve all seen (or heard rumors, or looked for) those hidden secrets in movies (especially <a title="Disney Easter Eggs" href="http://www.eeggs.com/tree/1375.html" target="_blank">Disney</a>), DVD extras, software, hardware, or firmware.</p>
<p>Deemed &#8220;<a title="Easter Egg Description" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easter_egg_(media)" target="_blank">easter eggs</a>,&#8221; because they&#8217;re fun to look for and even more fun when you actually find them, facebook&#8217;s pirate english is no exception to this &#8220;fun&#8221; rule- even if it means that your cell phone is called a &#8220;parrot&#8221; videos are &#8220;bewitched portraits&#8221; and friends are &#8220;Hearties.&#8221;</p>
<p><a title="Wikpedia Easter Eggs &amp; Facebook Pirate English" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easter_egg_(media)" target="_blank">Wikipedia</a> gives a better explanation: Easter eggs are messages, videos, graphics, sound effects, or an unusual change in program behavior that sometimes occur in a software program in response to some undocumented set of commands, mouse clicks, keystrokes or other stimuli intended as a joke or to display program credits.</p>
<p>So, basically, you&#8217;ve got a bunch of nerdy programmers looking to stretch their talents- aka hiding something silly/geeky/funny/techy into whatever it is they are creating. And other crazy techy people love to look for them. It&#8217;s similar to how you would search for those secret codes or passages in Mario Kart (i &lt;3 mariokart&#8230;)</p>
<p><img class="alignleft" title="Facebook Pirate Language Images" src="http://techyness.com/Images/pirate1.jpg" alt="" width="554" height="83" />And Facebook&#8217;s Pirate English is no exception&#8230; according to <a title="Nick Burcher Pirate Blog" href="http://www.nickburcher.com/2008/09/facebook-pirate-language-new-english.html" target="_blank">nick burcher&#8217;s blog</a>, Facebook rolled out this <a title="Facebook Information on Pirate Language" href="http://www.new.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=20531316728&amp;topic=6212" target="_blank">new language</a> (and trust me, it&#8217;s a full language) not only to show off their translation skills, but on &#8220;<a title="Talk Like a Pirate: National Pirate Day" href="http://www.talklikeapirate.com/" target="_blank">national pirate day</a>.&#8221;</p>
<p><img class="alignleft" title="Facebook Pirate English information " src="http://techyness.com/Images/pirate2.jpg" alt="" width="472" height="92" /></p>
<p><a title="Facebook Easter Eggs" href="http://mashable.com/2007/09/10/facebook-easter-eggs/" target="_blank">Mashable</a> writes that Facebook also like to hide quotes at the bottom of the page, including (but not limited to) &#8220;only the craftiest of quails survive hunting season”. Highlight the area to see it. Interesting.</p>
<p>In the mean time, check out <a title="eEggs" href="http://www.eeggs.com/" target="_blank">eeggs.com</a> for the Easter Egg Archive: Movies, DVDs, Software, Operating Systems and other stuff.  View the <a title="Top 25 Application Easter Eggs" href="http://www.eeggs.com/top25.cgi?cid=154" target="_blank">top 25</a> application easter eggs here and the <a title="Worst 25 Application Easter Eggs" href="http://www.eeggs.com/bottom25.cgi?cid=154" target="_blank">worst 25</a> here.</p>
<p>Downgrade: new regulations have limited the number of secret nerdy things you can add into an application- mainly because of the fear behind this thought: if you can add in a seperate language, what else can you do? who is checking your work?</p>
<p>boo. i vote for innovation and the creation of hilarious languages.</p>
