Samples Galore at Birchbox Sample Stop in NYC

Last night, my friend Erin and I attended an event in NYC that we have been looking forward to throughout Fashion Week – Birchbox’s Sample Stop. Bloggers, celebs and fashion icons have been tweeting photos of their loot over the past few days, and I’ve been looking forward to doing the same.

I have been loving Tristan Prettyman’s music since college – my favorites are “Shy that Way” and “Simple as it Should Be” — but you can download some of her newer songs for free from Birchbox here (and watch a funny video of her opening her birchbox.)

Overall, I was incredibly lucky – I was able to get a bunch of free samples, sip champagne, free brow shaping/wax by Benefit  my hair done by Aveda AND a manicure by Color Club .
