5 Reasons Why I Finally Made An About.me Page
I’m not going to lie here. I just created my about.me page, and in doing so, I was trying to figure out why I had not made one sooner. Regardless of the past, here are a few reasons why I decided to actually create my page on about.me.
1) It’s Simple. In one page, you get to the bottom line. Who are you? How can I contact/find you on the internet?
2) I really like the interface. It took me 5 minutes to create. Seriously. Just come prepared with a bio, some links and a background. (please don’t go all myspace or expages with this one. Choose a non-animated background).
3) There’s a Directory. Find people, look at cool profiles and see how creative people are.
4) It has analytics. For those who are confused, or have no need to run or analyze Google Analytics on their own site (or don’t have a website for that matter) it’s a good beginner introduction to how these sort of things work.
